CELLAR NOTES

Thank you for your patience.

As export manager of the winery, the past couple of years have been trying times for me. The 2008 vintage was Shmitta in Israel. It was one of our finest vintages but despite that, we were unable to send any of the wines from that vintage to our primary markets abroad.

So the past year or so I have been scraping together remnants of 2007 wines to send around the world, it has been pretty frustrating and not very good for business.

Anyway I am happy to report that this week we began the process of replenishing the stocks of our markets abroad. We have been working like crazy in order to get the estate reds to foreign climes by the holidays.  Sunday was cabernet, Monday shiraz and Wednesday merlot. Very soon the wait will be over…
