Alma is a series of great wines made for simple pleasures: dinner with friends, a picnic in the park or snacks at sunset. Our Red Alma is a classic, that red that everyone loves to have around: lush, mineral, mouth grabbing and slightly spiced. Try pairing it with meat from the smoker, cold cuts or pasta dishes. Just uncork a bottle and enjoy.
The Blend
50% Shiraz from Elkosh and Safsufa Vineyards
40% Grenache from Even Menachem Vineyard
10% Carignan from Kfar Tabor Vineyard
Winemaking
Each plot was harvested and fermented and initially aged separately. After a year the wine was blended and further aged in concrete tanks and a large wooden cask (Foudre).

Tasting Notes
Alma Scarlet is a wine showing rich earthy characteristics of leather and liquorice with underlying floral notes and wild raspberries. The wine has good body with a rich silky finish.
